The manufacturer contacted us after the iAudio CW300 review went live on 08/20/2003 due to a comment in the review regarding the CW300's ability to play MP3's with bit rates higher than 320 kbps. After further testing, we at Computer Critics could not duplicate the problem we first experienced which leads us to believe it was an issue of human error rather than a limitation of the device. Therefore we are retracting the the statement "Testing also revealed that the CW300 cannot play MP3 files over 320 kbps." and would like to issue an apology to the manufacturer.

In addition, when the article first appeared we listed the manufacturer as "Cowon Systems". Although Cowon Systems is the parent company, the manufacturer of the iAudio CW300 is in fact JetAudio.
